Last week, Tal Gonen and Ties Morskate presented students Commercial Economics with our vision on the positioning of brands, companies and products. Occasion for the presentation at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam was the kickoff of the New Product Marketing project.
We focused on an organization’s story; what value does the story of an organization have and how do I tell it. We built our talk around our favorite animal; the penguin, and used our positioning matrix to supply them with the neccesary framework.
After our talk there were some solid questions, but more importantly; in the lessons following the presentation many students showed they really had taken our story to heart. They started telling the stories of their products! Mission accomplished.
